My First Scooter

This is my 2012 Roketa 150cc Scooter.
This is me on my '12 Roketa Scooter MC-04Y 150cc. I chose this bike because of the size for my  height (6'2") and that it would generously seat 2 people. Fortunately for me I got a good color... Red. There are blue, black, red, and yellow to choose from and this is the only one they had. I got this scooter from Affordable Motorsports

My wife and I taking it for a spin around Spokane.

On Mother's day I took my beautiful wife on a short but sweet ride up on 5 mile hills. The scooter fared well, The bike can handle up to 385.5 pounds and surprisingly it did well. Although going up hill full throttle we managed to just get by at 40mph. Which is not bad but it really is only meant for in town driving...more on that later.

My New Helmet
Here is my wife's helmet in carbon black. It's exactly like my own helmet from CycleGear in Spokane Valley. We both got these helmets at a steal... The original price was $99.99. This is a modular helmet where the face flips up. It also has the cockpit sun visor that flips down to keep your eyes from the blinding sunlight.

Now CycleGear had the same helmet without the visor on sale for $69.99 but... they didn't have my size. So the manager sold me the next one up for the same price. Later I came in with my wife, got her the same helmet and told them the manager gave me it for that price. So now we both have awesome helmets for when we either ride together... or when my wife get's her super-bike!
